Koshinetsu (甲信越) is a collective term for the three prefectures located in the central part of the Japanese archipelago, and is an acronym for the former rule-named countries “Kai (甲斐)(Yamanashi)“, “Shinano (信濃) (Nagano)“, and “Echigo (越後) (Niigata)“.
In particular, it has a strong connection with the Tokyo metropolitan area, and many people come and go from Tokyo to resorts, sightseeing, and leisure.
