Following the first release, “Hizakura (日桜),” this new collection is inspired by cherry blossoms illuminated by the setting sun, capturing the elegant and fleeting beauty of evening sakura. A delightful blend of green and pink hues, the “Matcha & Sakura Warabi Mochi Frappuccino®” offers an elegant, wagashi-like (traditional Japanese confectionery) experience.

This seasonal Frappuccino® is based on Starbucks’ classic “Matcha Cream Frappuccino®” but enhanced with sakura-scented warabi mochi, creating a delicate and fragrant seasonal treat.

The vibrant green body represents fresh sakura leaves, made by blending rich matcha powder with milk for a deep, complex flavor. The bottom layer consists of soft, pastel pink warabi mochi, adding a chewy texture reminiscent of Japanese sweets.

This drink is a variation of the popular “Hojicha & Classic Tea Latte,” which gained popularity after its reintroduction in summer 2024. It now features the same sakura warabi mochi found in the “Matcha & Sakura Warabi Mochi Frappuccino®.”

The base combines aromatic roasted hojicha with black tea, balanced with smooth white chocolate syrup and rich fresh cream for a blend of sweetness and depth.
