🚉 How to Get There
Mimuroto-ji is easily accessible from both central Kyoto and Osaka:

- By JR Line: Take the JR Nara Line to JR Uji Station. During the peak flower season, a “Hydrangea Bus” often runs from the station, or you can take a quick 10-minute taxi ride.
Traveler’s Tip: While central Kyoto (like Gion or Arashiyama) can get very crowded, Uji offers a more relaxed, authentic atmosphere. Arrive early in the morning to enjoy the flowers in the peaceful morning mist!
